The launch of the Mar Thoma Baskiomos App and website marks a significant milestone in the history of the Mar Thoma Baskiomos Fellowship

Project Inception and Vision

On December 12, 2019, the committee envisioned developing a smartphone directory app, acknowledging the growing number of app users. A subcommittee was formed to realise this vision.

Development Journey

The first subcommittee meeting took place on February 14, 2020, with Rev. Abraham Sudeep Oommen providing valuable insights into the online application’s benefits and drawbacks. By February 25, 2020, the discussed points were shared with the Kendra committee, which appointed Mrs. Pushpa J. Punamadam as the project coordinator and sought technical support from Mrs. Feba Alan Varghese. Despite challenges in finding a suitable development partner, the committee approved Geosys IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd’s proposal on August 2, 2023.

Agreement and Project Execution

An agreement was signed on March 13, 2024, between Mar Thoma Baskiomos Fellowship and Geosys IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Key representatives included President Dr. Annama Thomas with technical team (online), Secretary Mrs. Feby Elizabeth Mathews, Treasurer Mrs. Daisy Abraham, and Managing Director Mr. Preju George Varghese, with Rev. Ani Alex Kurian and Mrs. Pushpa J. Punamadam in attendance (offline). Following the signing, the first instalment was paid to Geosys IT Solutions.
